The mission of the Kansas Cannabis Industry Association is to promote the legalization of medical marijuana in the State of Kansas and to promote the growth of a responsible and legitimate cannabis industry and to work for a favorable social, economic and legal environment for that industry in Kansas. We serve this mission by providing valuable information and education through policy analysis and information on best practices to business leaders, lawmakers, state regulators and the people of Kansas.We advocate for responsible business practices, corporate responsibility,and stewardship upon the legalization of medical marijuana in Kansas so that individuals with chronic pain and other medical conditions successfully treated with marijuana may live with less pain and so that the State of Kansas and its taxpayers are the secondary beneficiaries of this legalization.We engage in legislative efforts to legalize and further legitimize the legal medical cannabis market in Kansas and ensuring that lawmakers and Kansans under the benefits of state-regulated cannabis versus the failures of prohibition.
