In some cases it was necessary to reduce the flammability of polyurethane foam with respect to the use of parts in the air rescue services.Covers and casings for medical instruments, equipment for dental chairs.Technology of production of covers from hard integral polyurethane foam is suitable for small and medium production runs, when production equipment is amortized in relatively small number of products. Molds are much cheaper for this production if compared with injection molds for thermoplastics; on the other hand the products are more expensive due to the higher price of the base material and lower productivity. After applying paint, the parts are aesthetically on significantly higher level than parts molded or vacuum formed.
