Welcome to Kaplan Woods Health Care. We provide in home care, respite services and in facility care through our certified care home for developmentally disabled individuals in Owatonna, MN. We serve those who may require additional medical care or assistance with their activities of daily living. Our expertly trained staff provides skilled care 24 hours a day from our conveniently located facility just south of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and Saint Paul, Minnesota. We strive to promote health and quality of life while attending to each resident's daily needs. We take a holistic approach to our care. We start with daily fresh cooked food, ensuring healthy and appropriate diets for each resident. We collaborate with medical experts to oversee the medical care, including medications, given to the resident with appropriate control measures to ensure accuracy and dosing. Residents attend a day training and habilitation program which includes training in daily living, pre-vocational, social and behavioral skills, speech therapy, personal care training and assistance as well as other supportive services. Our recently remodeled facility features a warm home like atmosphere, encouraging social interaction, engagement, and striving to provide an excellent quality of life.
