The brand Karakoram2 or K2 is inspired by the second highest mountain in the world (K2, pictured above) located in Pakistan. The brand itself was born on the northern beaches of Sydney, Australia, by a sketch artist and an electrical engineer with a obsession for functional design and beautifully crafted products.Tired of seeing mediocre, pocket bulging chunky wallets, we set out to design quality leather wallets that look the part. Starting with a belief that to make beautiful products, one must begin with simple idea and create around it. For countless nights, we have obsessed over the elimination of complexity, while prioritising simplicity; every stitch, every fold has been carefully thought out to craft the perfect men's wallet.We want our customers to look sharp, bold and effortlessly fashionable. It is the highest point of the Karakoram range adjacent to the mighty Himalayas and the highest point in Pakistan.K2 is known as the "Savage Mountain" due to the extreme difficulty of ascent and perilous nature of journey. All of the world's 14 mountains with peaks that stretch more than 8,000 meters above sea level have been climbed with and without supplemental oxygen.
