Over the past 15 years in various capacities, Karen has worked/traveled to over 50 countries. Her clients include start-up to global corporate organizations in: high-technology, hospitality/tourism, non-profit/government, finance/banking, healthcare and retail/consumer goods.As a multi-entrepreneur in the arts/entertainment and wine industry, Karen grew her first business, Inspired Art Wine, to 20,000+ customers worldwide and 250+ corporate clients since 2015. Her innovative approach has earned her recognition by the Orange County Business Journal for the "Innovator of the Year," "Entrepreneur of the Year" and "Women in Business" awards and in 2017, winner of the "Emerging Small Business Award" by the Connected Women of Influence.In 2018, Karen launched Inspired Somm, where she brings an entertaining informative approach to wine education. With her team, Karen produces digital content focus on educating the new generation of wine enthusiasts: Millennial and Generation Z. She consults with wineries to deliver cutting edge market research on these two consumer groups.Before entrepreneurship, Karen was head of Worldwide Partner Marketing for Western Digital, where she launched loyalty rewards program for 20,000+ channel partners across 90 countries, managing a team in the Americas, Europe and Asia. She earned her M.B.A. from the UC Irvine Paul Merage School of Business and Bachelors from UC Irvine and bilingual (fluent in Vietnamese).
