Karine Tawil founded Karoline Lang International in 2012 with a flagship store in Avenue Montaigne, Paris. Today, she works from her studio in Beirut, the Middle East's leading fashion hub. As a designer, Tawil is drawn to the movement of the body, the simplicity of form and material detail. She creates enduring styles with streamlined tailoring. She sources fine fabrics from boutique textile houses and often creates her own patterns and textures. Her experimental approach ranges from using new technologies such as laser-cut patterning to traditional couture techniques.
