Nonprofit Organization Management - Hyderabad, Telangana, India
Kasturba Gandhi National Memorial Trust is a Non Profit Organization established by eminent leaders of India including Mahatma Gandhi, Sri Vallabhbhai Patel, Thakkar Bapa and others shortly after India's independence. Since inception our trust has grown in presence across multiple locations in India, serving the rural community with projects and activities to address women empowerment, sanitation and hygiene, child care etc. The Hydershakote branch has been instrumental in transforming the rural community around the village of hydershakote and langar house localities. Some of our initiatives have had great success with community support. Our centre also runs a shelter home for women in distress, victims of rape, domestic and social abuse. Our in-house counsellors offer support and help in rehabilitating the inmates back into the society. We also have a fully functional e-learning centre and vocational training centre to help our inmates in learning life skills and prepare for an integrated life ahead. We are also proud of our childline centre in association with government of Telangana, where we provide rescue and rehabilitation services for children in distress, fight against child labour and help in planning and execution of child welfare projects in the rural areas.
