Houston-based Interior Designer Katie Scott, launched the her eponymous brand in 2005 to reflect her client's core spirit in their homes. With a passion for expressing the inner self, Katie then launched her fine jewelry collection in 2013 to uniquely combine fashion design and inner spirituality. Influenced by the beauty found in juxtaposition, Katie's designs are inspired from modern, clean lines to the patina of antiques. Katie creates interiors and fine jewelry that resonate a sense of peace and calm but also energizes, with exciting colors and expressions.Katie's passion to infuse spirituality into the modern home led her to the creation of her jewelry line. It was during Katie's search for fashion forward, high-quality, spiritual jewelry that she recognized an opportunity. Her jewelry collection references spiritual motifs and messages in a contemporary way with a variety of medals such as gold and ebonized sterling silver, diamonds and exotic skins, meditation beads and archetypal crosses. Katie Scott Design Jewelry is a fashionable expression of one's true inner spirit. Katie has received impressive accolade for her interior design work as well her jewelry. In 2008, domino magazine named Katie "one of the nation's top ten up and coming designers" as well as the "Best in Residential Interior Design" by the 2013 PaperCity Excellence in Design Awards. Katie's interiors have also been featured in Elle Decor, Country French, Modern Luxury Interiors, Southern Living, PaperCity and Black & White. Katie was also selected as one of the designers for Traditional Home's Holiday House in New York City in 2015. Katie Scott's Jewelry designs have also been featured in WWD, JCK Marketplace, New York Girl Style, and Accessories Magazine. Katie was also nominated for Fashion Group International's annual Rising Star Award in January 2016.
