The Katy House originally opened as a Bed and Breakfast in 1994 and has been serving guests from all over the world for 27 years. The Italianate exterior of The Katy House is graced by an arched portico set over the bay-windowed living room. Elegant Georgian columns reflect the home's early 1900's origin. Long-leaf pine floors, pocket doors, and a graceful staircase accent the handsome interior. A true hidden gem of the architecture of the period.Totalling 6 guest rooms across the property, guests have the luxury of selecting accommodations that best suit their individual needs. In the main house, 3 guest rooms, all with private baths, can be reserved. Each of these rooms was named after the Katy Railroad passenger cars: the Bluebonnet, Katy Limited, and Texas Special.Only steps away from the back porch of the main house, 3 private cottages are tucked away for the utmost in guest privacy.
