Katy Sweet began her association with Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills, and global luxury branding, as a Vice President of renowned entertainment public relations firm P/M/K. She managed, among other projects, the formation of the influential Rodeo Drive Committee. From that experience, Katy became Vice President of PR and Promotion for legendary fragrance and retail entrepreneur Fred Hayman; initially under his Giorgio Beverly Hills banner and then with Fred Hayman Beverly Hills. Katy's purview included both companies' creative and promotional strategies, including local, national, and international campaigns, as well as the orchestration of Fred Hayman's years as fashion coordinator of the Academy Awards telecasts. Hayman was a creative dynamo that Katy remembers fondly as a mentor. With Fred's blessing, and his later commitment as a client, Katy opened Katy Sweet & Associates in 1991. Today, the KS&A list of past and present clients reads like a "who's who" of elegant luxury brands, aspirational lifestyle products and prominent nonprofits.Katy enjoys an impeccable reputation with business, social and entertainment communities in the greater Los Angeles area. She has served on the executive board of the Rodeo Drive Committee, as well as on the Board of Directors of the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce and Civic Association.Katy's graciousness, vast experience, and networking skills make her the doyenne of luxury public relations and the "go to" personality for gala event promotions and media relations.
