KazUIR&WL offers 27 educational programs for the three stages of higher education (BA, MA, Ph.D.) specializing in the humanities, languages, pedagogy, politics & international relations, tourism & hospitality, management, law, and economics. KazUIR&WL is among the top 10 universities of Kazakhstan and the top 3 in languages and humanities. KazUIR&WL is listed among the top 221-230 universities in Emerging Europe and Central Asian regions and the top 801-1000 in the world. KazUIR&WL's mission is to disseminate the idea of multilingualism in training specialists of all university majors. University aims at improving the National System of foreign language education based on CERF. In 1995 KazUIR&WL among the first universities in Kazakhstan signed the "Partnership and Cooperation Agreement" between Kazakhstan and the EU, thus becoming a participant in European Union-funded projects. KazUIR&WL has more than 10 successful projects in the framework of the Erasmus+ KA107 projects, with a cohort of European universities.
