Once upon a time, there was a marketing agency made-up of over a thousand misfits from all walks of life. Unbeknownst to this group of misfit marketers, they were pioneering some of the most effective marketing disciplines now used by the biggest brands from around the world today! This group of misfits was started and by entrepreneurs Kevin Berg and Michael Blatter back in 1994. Kevin and Michael put an immense importance on agency culture that led to one of the most creative and passionate environments in agency history! KBA went against the grain of traditional marketing and dreamed up and executed some of the wildest promotions of the 90's era! Way before anyone ever used the term "influencer" KBA was seeding products with hipsters from NY to LA! Long before brands were supporting the gay and transgender community -- KBA was there! Before brands created deep and immersive experiences for their consumers KBA was there! And long before nightlife was considered a marketing channel KBA had built it! During the original lifespan of KBA, before it was gobbled up and destroyed by advertising behemoth Interpublic group, KBA employed thousands of creative and ambitious young adults from over 30 cities around the US. Some of those former KBAers have gone on to build and run some of the most successful marketing agencies ever. Today "Experiential Marketing" is a billion dollar industry with 100's of agencies -- and they all have Blatter, Berg and KBA to thank for their success
