The Kearney Center (the Center) includes segregated dormitories for adult men and women with an overall capacity of 390 individuals. Additionally, the Center contains a large, full service kitchen and cafeteria capable of providing nutritious meals and accommodate special dietary needs. The Center also includes a large medical facility where medical professionals can provide direct primary care, specialty care through telemedicine, and infirmary care. In addition, the Center includes numerous semi-private offices that will allow state and local agency representatives to meet with individuals about benefits and services; it will also has a fully operational laundry and large common areas for the use of residents, storage space, staff and volunteers along with outdoor recreational areas. This new model of care seeks to rapidly move individuals and families through the homeless episode and re-house them as quickly as possible, minimizing the impact of the homeless situation on the individual, the family, and the community. By co-locating over 35 partnering agencies and organizations into one structure, the successful delivery of vital services to our homeless neighbors increases substantially. The purpose of this page is to inform potential partnering agencies, other service providers, and individuals that may benefit from the services provided at the facility, of who we are and how we are working to improve our community. If you would like to partner with the Karney Center and provide service out of our facility, please send a message. If you are a service worker and feel that our services may benefit a client you are currently working with, please feel free to provide your client with our contact information and refer them to us. If you yourself are in need of the services provided here at our facility, please come visit us and ask to meet with one of our case managers.
