We communicate authenticity exploring natural and built environments uncovering the simple truth, Being in the World - Activating Space.BACKGROUNDEstablished in 2004, Kelly D Hudak began working within photographic and display projects, graphic design and layout for published works. It was her personal artwork that gave way to fresh perspectives regarding new media arts. Steeped in her Great Grandmothers travel stories on a schooner in the Arctic regions, experience in skydiving and personal research of prototype motorcycle riders inspired investigation into new forms of lighting technology to describe the dynamism of spatial navigation.Kelly D Hudak Design & Installation found Philips Lumiblade in 2012, their bright, thin and programmable Lumiblade OLED components are unique to the visual marketplace and have the potential to provide impact or blend into public and private spaces. We see much opportunity in implementing OLED designs for clients in hospitality, wellness, events, retail, campus and office spaces. What is even more significant is the opportunity for visual designs to be incorporated. VISIONWhile Kelly still pursues her personal work, an urge developed inside to describe what place and spatial experience mean in our environment today and how that can evolve regarding design and science. Kelly D Hudak is inspired by Buckminster Fuller's concept of "Doing more with less," the innovative platforms of medium format photography companies such as Hasselblad and Sony and the explosion of filming with a GoPro and a drone. We wish to tell a story supporting our clients and partners providing meaningful content. This occurs in collaboration, creating artworks that reflect core values. The spirit of adventure, passion in perseverance and joy found in living each day inspire our work.
