Kelowna and District SHARE Society works to address the many needs of those in our community who are in transition. This transition can be defined as:-Someone who is a newcomer to Canada and has to start from the beginning.-A person who is being released from a treatment program or prison and needs to reintegrate into their community.-A youth at risk who needs to learn new skills.-A person with a disability who is on a journey of self-discovery and self-realization -Or simply a single mom who needs to make her dollar stretch to the end of the month.The SHARE Society Thrift Store is a social enterprise that operates to support the following programs:-Details of Retail Introduction Program (DRIP) -Community Assistance Program (CAP)-Volunteer Engagement Program (VEP)-Transition to Employment Program (TEP)Share Society relies on our wonderful staff, volunteers, partners, agencies, and supporters to provide the programs we have available to Kelowna.
