The Kelowna Innovation Society (KIS) is a government funded not for profit that is working collaboratively with all levels of government,entrepreneurs, industry, academia and the private sector to drive economic growth and establish the region as the best place in western Canada for entrepreneurs to start and grow innovative, creative and technology-focused companies.One of the key initiatives for KIS is the development and operation of 20,000 sq. ft. of vibrant, creative, innovative space within the new Okanagan Centre for Innovation currently being constructed in downtown Kelowna.
