Kenya Help is a charitable organization founded by Kingston local Nancy Stevens in 2008. What started with building a brand new orphanage quickly grew to become self-sustaining farms, food programs, a water delivery system, a school, first aid and so much more. Queens Kenya Help (QKH) is the first ever University chapter in support of Kenya Help. QKH is focused on bringing awareness to the issues that are being faced by the individuals in Ngong, QKH is currently helping to raise funds for the 2019 project. Kenya Help would like to add an extension to the classroom they built in 2014.Unlike many other clubs and organizations at Queen's, we work directly with the founder of Kenya Help, to ensure that Queen's Kenya Help is raising money for what the community really needs at the time and to ensure complete transparency about where every single dollar raised goes.
