The Kenya National Spelling Bee is an adaptation of the Scripps National Spelling Bee that is held in the United States of America and the Spelling Bee of Canada. KNSB is a founding Member of the African Spelling Bee, a Consortium of Spelling Bee Organizations from 22 African Countries.KNSB is Kenya's largest English Language Spelling Competition. It is a registered educational organization that is authorized and monitored by the Kenyan Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.We make learning fun, we promote a reading culture and motivate learners to work hard through; Spelling Bee Championships and the Spelling Bee TV Show. The TV Show focuses on the Pupils who excel at the County level and an overall National Champion who will represent Kenya at the African Spelling Bee Championship. The show attracts a viewership of over a million Pupils, Parents, Teachers and other stakeholders in Kenya and across Africa. We empower Teachers of English, recognize, celebrate and reward the top Spellers, their Teachers and their Schools.
