KEP is an Izmir-based intercultural platform where disadvantaged (local, refugee, minority) women and their children participate in training and empowerment activities while connecting with other women and sharing their skills.In addition to the support we offer, we listen to the thoughts and dreams of women and encourage them to share their skills and expertise. KEP was established to be a living example of the values we want to see in society at large: respect, solidarity and equality.Our path towards empowerment is textile education. We provide textile training to develop women's sewing and embroidery skills, to gain financial independence and to let women's personalities shine through in their stitched work.
