Kerala Infrastructure Fund Management Limited (KIFML) is the Investment Manager of Kerala Infrastructure Fund (KIF), a SEBI registered Category II AIF, and the proposed Kerala Innovation Fund, a state-sponsored VC Fund, which is a SEBI registered Category I AIF. KIFML is a professional board-run entity with an eminent Board and an Investment Committee with stellar credentials. KIFML is presently engaged in the fundraising process and the first close of the fund is expected by November 2022. Kerala Infrastructure Fund (KIF) is a Kerala-focused Private Equity Fund that seeks to identify, create, and invest in quality infrastructure opportunities in Kerala that will power economic activity and improve the quality of life. KIF seeks to enhance value creation through early participation and engagement with project proponents at the concept stage to mitigate risks early on. The investments shall be fully ESG compliant.With the aim to accelerate the growth of innovative small-scale enterprises and start-ups in Kerala, the Government of Kerala has accorded approval to set up sector agnostic VC Fund— "Kerala Innovation Fund". This will primarily focus on startups, located in Kerala or having a significant majority of their operations in Kerala that have achieved a certain level of maturity in terms of credibility and validation of the business model, achieved a product-market fit and a threshold revenue, and have a promoter profile that lends credibility on their execution ability.
