Kerby Centre is the place to be if you're over 55! The Centre was established in 1973 to enhance the quality of life for older persons. Located at the western edge of Calgary's downtown, the Centre provides an array of active living programs and preventive services. Kerby Centre was founded as an organization that would be run by seniors, for seniors. The Board of Directors is comprised entirely of seniors and is responsible for the operation of Kerby Centre. Assisting the Board are fifty professional staff and over 400 volunteers.
