Hello, I'm an artist in Carbondale, Colorado, specializing in hand drawn illustrations and wood burning. I've been drawing since I was a little kid and I've always loved the solitude of working with my hands to make something beautiful. For many years I owned and operated a local "brick-and-mortar" business directing and teaching a school for adults. I loved this work, but over time I realized my favorite part was designing my websites and flyers and decorating my rent envelopes for my cool landlady. It was a sneaky outlet for my artistic side so I kept drawing and I went back to school for design. I like to think because of this experience, I understand my clients' needs from the perspective of the business as well as the side of the artist.On a personal note, I love that this work celebrates and engages my artistic/creative side AND my meticulous/precise nature, and it's adaptable enough for my nomadic soul to stay wild and free. Since this work travels anywhere I do, life constantly keeps me inspired, refreshed, and creatively satisfied.
