The mission of the Key to the Future Foundation is to provide equal educational opportunities for children and youth in institutional foster care. Currently, over 16,000 children are under the care of such institutions in Poland. Most of them don't have access to tutoring, thus increasing the disproportion in school achievement between them and the other students. We decided to change that. Our goal is to give children in institutional foster care access to tutoring so that they can fill up on their gaps in material taught at school just as all the other students do. To achieve our goal, we are connecting volunteers with children and youth from institutional foster care.
