Established by Kharissa Forte, KForte Creative Communications utilized creative strategies to elevate businesses to the next level from 2014 to 2019. HISTORYAfter earning a journalism degree from University of Missouri - Kansas City in 2013, Kharissa set out to create a B2B that would bring digital marketing to the forefront. A year later, she founded KForte Creative Communications and offered services in the areas of web design and management, content management, social media management, and audio/visual production. The company worked with nearly 100 brands all over the country but focused primarily on the Kansas City area. Some of its clients included the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, American Jazz Museum, NickiFit, and several others.KForte Creative Communications also opened the door for Kharissa to take advantage of other opportunities in radio, television, and working at other agencies.NEW ENDEAVORSIn April 2019, Kharissa pursued another passion and enrolled at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. She graduated from the New York-based school's accelerated program in six months. As a certified health coach, she decided to fuse her love for health and wellness with her skills in digital marketing by creating a new business: Grace & Grind.The Grace & Grind brand launched in January 2020 and become an actual business in April. Grace & Grind is a health and wellness publication, podcast, and shop founded on the belief that self-care is the most selfless thing you can do.
