Ms. Khanjian has over eight years of broad civil litigation experience that she acquired as a Law Clerk and Associate at Los Angeles boutique firms – for three years in the area of Labor and Employment, as well as Real Estate, then in Probate Litigation and Family Law, and most recently as a State and Local Tax Associate in the Corporate Tax Department of a national law firm. Her practice was primarily focused on Insurance Defense, Employment Law, Workers' Compensation, and defending municipalities. She also gained courtroom experience through her work in the private sector, as well as at the Los Angeles County District Attorney's downtown Los Angeles office. Ms. Khanjian has also written promotional material and articles for local and community publications, and is involved with several volunteer and philanthropic organizations. She has worked both as a Family Lawyer, representing parties in child custody, child support and visitation, and spousal support hearings. She has also represented and defended parties in Domestic Violence hearings. She has also worked as a Corporate Tax Attorney, representing large corporations, against the State of California, at the administrative level, as well as in Court. During law school, Ms. Khanjian took several courses in Bankruptcy and Federal Income Taxation, and was involved in the Volunteer Income Taxation Assistance program in order to maximize her exposure to areas encountered in a general corporate practice.
