As per high demand of Leaf Springs for assembling Mercedes trucks by Khavar Industrial Group, in 1977 the Group initiated to build its own spring production plant in Saveh city under both licensing of NI-1K spring and supervision of Daimler Benz. AG for a production capacity of 6,000 metric tons (MT) annually. The production facility consisted of 78000 square meters area, and it was located 120km south Tehran in Saveh City. The initial production limited just for leaf spring sets of Mercedes Trucks models only--e.g. 608, 0302 911, 1313 1924, and 2624. Later on 1991 the production site became independent party and it was formally registered as "Fanar Sazi Khavar" Company; that six years later the newly registered company transforms from a privately held company into a public stock traded companylnitial public offering (IPO) were finalized on march 1997 and Iran Khodro Group and its subsidiaries vvere major share holders back then; finally 20 years later (on March 2017) these majority shares were transferred to Pars Fanar Company. Through expansion on 2000, with cooperation and obtaining necessary machines from DAEWON Korea (Daewon Chong Up Corporation AKA DAWNSCO), the production capacity exceeded up to 12,000MT annually and expanded its products into coil springs, parabolic leaf springs, torsion bars, andstabilizer. enabling itself to be a great supplier for eve, demanding automotive industry in Iran.
