The KHBA (Kings Highway Beautification Association) is a service delivery & civic organization dedicated to streetscape improvement, economic development and the acceleration of innovative platforms for our urban climate in South Brooklyn. We build effective public-private partnerships with merchants, private residents, elected representatives and various city agencies, including the NYPD, Department of Parks & Recreation, Department of Sanitation, Department of Transportation, Department of Small Business Services, and others. In addition to providing marketing for businesses in our district, we also undertake streetscape maintenance/improvement activities, including seasonal tree pit flower plantings, supplementary street cleanings, graffiti removal, power washings and numerous capital projects in partnership with NYC; public parks improvements, upgraded street lamps, street repavings, NYPD security camera grants, and more. We seek to transform this otherwise "unhip" part of Brooklyn into a prime spot for growth & good living to benefit the diverse array of our world-class citizens.
