"Khwopa" is the prehistoric name of Bhaktapur, the abode of art and culture. Bhaktapur Municipality undertakes five academic institutions with their name all initiating with "Khwopa". The institutions are all motivated not for profit but for true service with their vision of establishing Bhaktapur as the center of excellence thereby intellectualizing the entire society.
