Kibale EcoHealth Project Details
The Kibale EcoHealth Project is a long-term investigation of health and ecology in the region of Kibale National Park, Uganda. Our scientific activities combine the biological and social sciences, drawing on disciplines such as epidemiology, molecular biology, behavioral ecology, anthropology, demography, and disease modeling to answer complex questions about disease transmission, health, and root socio-economic drivers. The goal of the Kibale EcoHealth Project is to protect the health and wellbeing of people, wildlife, and domestic animals while conserving the complex and changing ecosystems we share.
