Kids for Life began in 2003, when a very persistent and social individual, Nathan Davis, decided to throw a party with the ultimate goal being to raise funds for research into life threatening childhood illnesses and disease. Through his network of friends, the organisation of this party soon turned from one person's vision to that of a group of like minded people. Our Vision: Kids for Life is devoted to raising awareness of sick and under privileged children and helping Australian networks extend the best care to enrich and brighten the lives of these children and their families. Our Mission: Our mission is to raise funds for research and awareness, to find cures for childhood illness and disease and assist in the welfare of children less fortunate than others. Overall we aim to improve their quality of life and that of their families.Kids for Life focuses on:Raising and promoting awareness to find cures for childhood illness and diseaseAssisting in research to find cures for childhood illness and diseaseThe need to assist in the welfare of less fortunate children andThe need to improve their quality of life and that of their familiesGenerating financial and material resources to support community and research programs towards the prevention and cure of childhood illness and disadvantageThe financial support Kids for Life provides is mainly sourced through our Annual Black Tie Ball, held early each year.
