KidsPB encourages kids with special needs to achieve their Personal Best in life by empowering their parents to summarise information and coordinate care and communication regarding their child through a secure, social website. KidsPB.com was launched by Dr Michael McDowell, founder of the Child Development Network (www.cd.net.au). Michael is a medical doctor, having completed training at both Sydney University and Harvard University, and is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health at the University of Queensland. Michael brings a wealth of practical and academic experience to all his roles and finds increasing joy in getting to know children and families as they grow and develop.
