Kifu Coffee began as a ‘missions challenge' during a missions conference at Thomasville Friends Church in Thomasville, NC. Instead of taking up an offering for missions, the church offered $20 to anyone who committed to 1) use it to bless somebody or 2) to make it grow. We made it grow! In October of '08, all the proceeds from the Kifu Coffee consumption went straight to the missions fund during ‘Harvest Weekend.'Thankfully, for all of our addicted coffee friends (don't worry we are addicted too) we continued roasting coffee even after the challenge was over. Now the Kifu Coffee Roasters are in Wilmore, KY, both attending school and daily enjoying many, many cups of coffee. Kifu Coffee began as a mission and all of its net profits will continue to be poured back into missions. Currently, Kifu Coffee is supporting individual missionaries and also missions organizations: DoingFamilyRight, Bridge For Hope International, Jonathan Spainhour with YWAM in Townsville, Australia, and Duhkti and Temima through World Vision. When you drink Kifu Coffee you are contributing to all kinds of good things!!Disclaimer: Once you try Kifu Coffee, you may find it hard to appreciate Starbucks. Don't buy our beans unless you are prepared to be a coffee snob for the rest of your life. We want to be known for ridiculous, unprecedented freshness. Shipping is available - shipping costs will be added to purchase & emailed to you after we receive your order.
