We faced the challenges of a society immersed in violence where the ones who suffered were always the poor. Even though the government tried to help the coffee farmers, terrorist groups and criminal bands made sure they intercepted any type of aid. Due to the conflict some of our family members were forced to move to the main cities and start from zero. Many years later in 2019 we united again to generate an impact not only on our family but to our local communities; Colombia and the United States where we currently reside. Coffee was the perfect way to do it because it runs in our blood and it represents our culture and everything positive about Colombia.
