Kindlow Safety Services provide safety consultancy and testing services for a worldwide network of companies. The laboratory was originally a part of the Modern Chemical Processes Group of Industrial Chemicals Division of J R Geighy, specializing in corrosion studies and physical measurements. In 1968 the laboratory began to undertake fire and explosion investigations and in 1975 started reaction thermochemistry investigations. The laboratory transitioned through many companies such as Ciba, BASF and Intertek before becoming an independent company in 2014. The laboratory now offers a full range of services such as; Dust Explosion Testing, Chemical Reaction Hazards, Venting Sizing, Regulatory Testing, REACH testing, Aerosol testing including Aerosol Flammability, Consultancy and Training. Kindlow Safety Services draws upon many years of experience specifically in the speciality chemicals industry, however we work with many manufacturing companies across all industries. The laboratory has been in continuous operation for over fifty years which stems from heritage as Ciba Specialty Chemicals Safety Services Group and continues to evolve to meet the changing needs and challenges of today's Industrial environment.
