Kinofilm, Manchester's International Short Film Festival was established in 1995 and is operated by Manchester International Film Festival. Next Kino Festival is set for 23rd - 29th November with a major section of animation in this year's event. Plus with our growing sidebar of New Polish Short Films and debut features by filmmakers that have successfully made the transition to Feature Film. Submissions to the short film festival are currently open untill the 15th August and filmmakers or the representatives can apply across very platforms, please see the update on our web site here: Note there is a 50% discount for students and North West of England filmmakers now.
