Leisure, Travel & Tourism - Kirkintilloch, Scotland, United Kingdom
Our club is situated north east of Glasgow in the town of Kirkintilloch within easy reach of the M80 motorway (find us). One of the main reasons we receive so many visitors each year to our club is the fact that our course is one of the finest parkland courses in the area. Originally designed in 1895 by golf course design legend James Braid, our par 70 course measures 5,860 yards (medal tees) with the layout suited to golfers of all abilities and ages with a relatively flat layout. We offer a warm welcome to visitors and on arrival you will receive a friendly welcome from our PGA Professional, Colin Fairweather. You may also wish to partake in our excellent catering prior to or after your round as well as making full use of our practice facilities before your round. Whether you are coming to KGC for a relaxing game with friends, playing a team match or taking part in one of our many Open Competitions you will not be disappointed with what we have to offer. Hopefully you will enjoy it that much we may just be welcoming you back as a member one day. If you do pay us a visit, have a great day and remember the three golden rules of your visit with us: Relax - You work hard so make the most of your leisure time Enjoy - Don't worry about how you play there is always another day Come Back - If you enjoyed your day out come back and please tell your friends
