In the agricultural sector, Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited (KOEL) fulfils the motive of meeting the agricultural needs of customers globally; essentially farmers, who require agricultural pumpsets in the range of 1.5 hp to 28 hp. KOEL manufacture a variety of quality diesel and petrol-kerosene engines. These engines are powering industrial engine applications across different sectors. It has also developed a new range of ‘Smarter Farm Machines' in the form of the multi-utility Power Tiller – Mega T KOEL's fully-equipped research and engineering facility has the most advanced technology, cutting-edge equipments and the latest software for design, development and upgrading of engines, systems and controls. The Research & Engineering facility is bolstered by an ultra-modern emission test lab which ensures that its products are emission compliant and eco-friendly. KOEL engines and diesel generator sets are also certified for stringent noise and exhaust emission norms made mandatory by the Central Pollution Control Board, India.
