Personal art creations by the hand of Benjamin Thomas Balaban. All illustrations are print versions of the original works. The original piece is drawn only using black ink ballpoint pens on bristol paper. No pencil pre-tracing is done, only pen to paper. Once a drawing is completed I then scan the image using a high DPI (dots per inch) scanner, for maximum resolution and quality. Once I have the art as a digital file I import the file into Adobe Illustrator and perform a Vector Image Trace. Once the trace is complete I correct the lines that were bled together, only to maintain the hand-drawn nature of the piece and because the program trace likes to combine lines that are not meant to be. Once the editing is complete the image is now able to be constructed to any size possible with maximum resolution and no pixilation to distort the image. Thanks to the Vector conversion, the piece can meow be printed on any item capable of being printed on!*All prints are of high quality fine art fabric, paper and canvas.*
