Kivu Belt Coffee was founded in 2011 by Teuscher Invest, Ltd. with the aquisition of more than 200 acres of land in Gihombo, Nyamaseke district, Western province of Rwanda. Since then we have planted more than 80'000 coffee trees and expect our first harvest of coffee in the spring 2014. Teuscher Invest, Ltd, which is owned by Swiss and Rwandan investors, aims to create a model coffee plantation using best sustainable agricultural practice and providing work opportunties for the region
