Kizy Tracking SA was founded in 2014 and is based in Switzerland. In November 2018, Kizy Tracking became part of the Spectos Group and remains acting under its own brand. With employees in Switzerland, Germany and Taiwan, Kizy provides scalable and affordable tracking systems to companies in the logistics and supply chain industry. Kizy develops a platform for real-time global tracking, consisting of one of the world's smallest autonomous enterprise hardware tracker, a cloud platform for real-time tracking and an open API. The tracking device uses GSM (2G/3G) and Wi-Fi triangulation for location tracking. It works inside buildings and containers and has an accuracy of 10 metres to 2 kilometres, depending on the density of the GSM/Wi-Fi network. The device provides up to one year of standalone battery life. It includes a light sensor, supports external sensors such as temperature and humidity, geofencing, and connects to the tracking platform at configurable intervals as well as based on exceptions or alerts. The device has the dimension of a credit card, weighs less than 50 grams and can be used to track cargo containers, pallets and individual boxes. The K-2 tracker is fully OTA configurable and fits inside standard envelopes, which facilitates the reverse logistics procedure. The platform supports app-like templates to optimize the configuration process on the user side.Kizy's smart tracking technology is targeted at integrators which offer vertical solutions. Trackers will be sold in various service packages as white-label solution to solution partners and Value Added Resellers (VARs). The combination of the unique Kizy tracking technology and advanced 3rd party data analytics allows for innovative solutions in the areas of quality monitoring, inventory management, asset management, project coordination and shipment tracking. Kizy Tracking has customers worldwide, among them DHL, Asendia, Hellmann Logistics, Hertz and Frey Electronics.
