Klara's Gourmet Cookies specializes in yummy varieties of old fashion European style cookies using my Czech Great Grand-Mother's recipes that have been in my family for generations. We use all natural ingredients without any preservatives - King Arthur Flour, Cabot Creamery Butter, Wholesome Sweeteners Organic Powdered Sugar, Organic Honey, Nielsen Massey pure Vanilla Extract to name few. All of our cookies are made from scratch in small batches in the European tradition - small size & not too sweet which allows you to taste all the flavors & have more than one cookies at the time. We offer Coconut Macaroons & Chocolate Coconut Macaroon - GF, dairy free & NonGMO Project verified, classic Vanilla Walnut Crescents, Linzer Cookies & variety of Shortbreads in these delicous flavors - Ginger, Chocolate Sea Salt, Lemon Poppy Seed or Double Chocolate. Lee, MA based Klara's Gourmet Cookies, LLC was born in Klara's home kitchen in 2006. At the time Klara was working as an assistant restaurant manager in the Berkshires. This is where she met her future husband (he was a chef). One day Klara decided to express her feeling for her future husband in a way that many women have, she baked Vanilla Walnut Crescents for him. Needless to say he liked them....a lot! As they say the rest is history.Klara resides and bakes in the scenic Berkshire Hills of Massachusetts with her husband and business partner Jefferson Diller and their daughter and official cookie taster Mika.
