A rapidly growing population had to be met with housing, commercial, educational facilities, medical centers and hospitals. Traditional Construction methods had become slow, labor intensive and impractical in many instances. It was time to look towards construction.With an investment of over 40 million Euros Knauf Tanzania is expanding a state of the art facility for the production of Gypsum Boards, Plasters and metal profiles to be completed and fully operational by the year 2020.Keeping abreast of steadily increasing demand for high quality products, systems and building solutions. Knauf Tanzania maintains it's mission to supply to local market with Tanzanian products manufactured to European standards with competitive pricing. Already a leading supplier in drywall systems, Knauf Tanzania is on track to further expand it's reach and market share within the industry. Knauf Tanzania has started exporting to Neighboring countries of Kenya, Congo, Malawi and Rwanda.A key component of the core structure of the business is Training local contractors and sub-contractors.
