Our Vision is for Knepp Estate to be a leading example of rewilding and nature regeneration both at home and abroad, believing that restoring fully functional ecosystems is urgently needed for the future of people and the planet.Our Purpose is to continue on the journey of process-led rewilding, seeking to encourage further dynamic natural processes by such means as key species reintroductions and varying the management of the large herbivores. We aim to inspire and promote rewilding through evidence-based studies rigorously conducted at Knepp, and through engagement with local communities, NGOs, policy-makers and educators. Rewilding provides the ethical context for all other activities on the Estate.
