KnottFast Motorsports was founded in 2018 and is an amateur race team comprised of a diverse group of young and hungry individuals, founded on the principle of bringing a volunteer professional level program into grassroots racing. We have history competing in numerous regional and semi-national motorsports series with some members having experience at the pro level. The team has experience in a variety of disciplines such as time attack, door to door sprint/endurance racing, dirt oval, drag, land speed record and drift events. Having knowledge of all aspects of motorsports, from building and driving the car to the logistics of managing multiple crew members, drivers, parts and budget we can operate at an extremely high level. In 2018 KnottFast Motorsports campaigned our first complete season of Gridlife Trackbattle time attack competing with at least 1 car at all series points events finishing 14th in class out of over 50 in season standings despite a mass of mechanical failures. The team pressed through all obstacles both on track and off including multiple prematurely cut/blown tires, a blown tow rig transmission, and 2 catastrophic engine failures- one in each car. With such a strong record for the team's inaugural year running the Gridlife series, it's evident that KnottFast is a rapidly rising team with aspirations to continue this success with further improvement and expansion in 2019 and on. such as Gridlife Trackbattle Time Attack Series, Global Time Attack, 24 Hours of Lemons Endurance Series, Champcar Endurance Series, with plans for other time attack, and endurance racing, and drift events in the future.
