Know Big Deal provides business design consulting to startups and small businesses, primarily in the nonprofit and arts sectors. Our focus is in organizational structure, short and long term strategy, and communication. We work with the founders, board members, and employees to ensure that company is lean and inefficiencies are reduced. While guess work can find lucky charms, we depend on data driven strategies and incremental milestones to increase consistency and ensure sustainable growth. Lastly, we coach individuals and teams in communication and leadership. Our coaching sessions are customized to fit the organization and individual needs. This may sound like a lot of buzzwords and business talk, but the reality is in the numbers. Over 80% of small business fail within their first 5 years. While timing is certainly important, the main criteria for success are: funding, ability to shift with the market, and trust (especially in the product/service, the mission of the company, and its leadership).
