This idea got started because I had been sexually attacked by a community member, and he continued to follow me. So, I started training with some of my law enforcement friends using a firearm for self-defense. Then I started asking about carrying a weapon concealed and what the laws were for that. While trying to pursue my Concealed Carry Weapon permit I started looking at concealed clothing. I couldn't find much out there that were specifically designed for women except for waist holsters. So, I asked my law enforcement buddies who were men and women if they knew of any place where I could buy women's concealed clothing. At the time, there was only one option. So, I looked at the men's concealed shirt and got the idea of a pocket, and how it could be done, but quickly saw that the placement of the firearm for the men's shirt (firearm hidden under the arm pit) would not work well for my body shape. So, I designed the shirt so that I could conceal a weapon. One of the biggest complaints that female law enforcement had was they did not want to carry concealed off duty, which they are strongly encouraged to do by their agencies, because they did not want to carry it in their purse in case it got stolen. They wanted to be able to carry it on themselves and still dress up to go out on the town for the night so to speak and look "normal." StacyOwner of Know Where To Hold ‘Em
