Knox Labs is a non-profit community-operated Makerspace located in Mount Vernon, OH. The purpose of Knox Labs is provide the community with access to a space where people with common interests, in computers, machining, technology, woodworking, electronics and innovation can meet, socialize, collaborate, and build projects.Our mission is to provide our community with a meeting place for individuals to have access to educational resources, machinery, and technology. We strive to create a positive environment where learning and making is safe and enjoyable were Knox Labs is open and accessible to everyone and offers a social space for makers, inventors, and educators.Through community outreach we aim to stimulate economic development, and function as a center for peer learning and knowledge sharing in the form of workshops, presentations, and lectures and offer social activities for the public.
