Knudtzon Senteret was established in May 2005 and the pilot project was initiated by Statoil and SIVA. As an incubator Knudtzon Senteret helps to develop innovative businesses in the early stages using expertise and networks. By encouraging innovation and spin-offs Knudtzon Senteret aim to contribute to the creation and development of high-growth firms based on the existing industrial activities. We are located in Kristiansund/Norway, and closely integrated with the local Petroleum Industry and the local network O.N Offshore Network (a network established in 2014 working to promote and help attract an increased number of large offshore-related projects to the region).Our main goal is to contribute to the development of new business ideas related to our main focus areas, which are:• Energy Solutions• Subsea Technology• Logistics applications for the Petroleum Industry• HSE Solutions, Methods etc.• Waste Management• Maritime and Marine industry
