Kristiansand Region is an inter-municipal cooperation between the seven municipalities Birkenes, Iveland, Kristiansand, Lillesand, Songdalen, Søgne and Vennesla. The municipalities make up a common living and employment area for more than 130.000 inhabitants in the region. The purpose of the collaboration is to develop local government and secure the inhabitants of the region such a good and efficient service as possible.
