KOHINOOR CARPET MANUFACTURERS was established in the year 1956 by its founder HAJI SHAHABUDDIN SHEERAZI & his Brothers, a pioneers in handknotted / handmade carpets. The surname SHEERAZI comes from the place SHIRAZ in Iran from where our family belongs.Our Factory is situated in Bhadohi ( Varanasi), the main carpet producing centre of India. Our entire factory is built in an approximate area of 32 acres of land. All activities of production are carried out in the factory premises itself.TOPAZ EXPORTS, a sister concern of Kohinoor Carpets was established in the year 1990 with new generations taking over the carpet business and MR. AZIMUDDIN SHEERAZI , the youngest son of Haji Shahabuddin Sheerazi carried out the legacy of carpet Manufacturing and exports to a very high standard and massive growth. Today the company exports in more than 28 countries of the globe and every one or two new countries are added in the list.Presently we have production centres in Bhadohi , Jaipur, Agra, Kashmir, Gwalior and Panipat with our Head Office in Mumbai ( Maharashtra).
